Don't be ridiculous it's perfectly fine to question tactics and performances on a football forum. If somebody is giving abuse or calling for sackings then fair enough but critiquing form or any issues surrounding football is part of it all.

I agree, constructive criticism is healthy and that what the forum should be about, my whinge was the following post which I thought was a crock of shite and makes out Jurgen doesn’t know what he’s doing. Obviously preceded by “I love Jurgen...............but”

I love Jurgen, but he definitely has weaknesses and one of them is a lack of flexibility.

I mean you only need look at our squad. He only ever plays players outside of his core 11, if he absolutely must. And we always play the same way.

I know that sounds a tad ungrateful considering what he has brought us, but in this league we won't be given the freedom to dominate. Every team hates our guts. Every manager, due to either rivalry or coming from a generation where we won everything, is out to get us.

We need to be able to change and adapt. Sides have figured us out, so what are WE gonna do about it?

I think Minamino is a good player but he needs to be in the right set up. Not shoehorned into a position where he is not suited. Not played in his proper position but surrounded by kids and fringe players. he needs integrating, and Jurgen doesn't do a lot of integration, say the way City would do. I think even United use rotation better so the all round squad is more cohesive.

I mean on wednesday he had Shaq on the fucking left of midfield with Robertson and he shifted Thiago back again after witnessing a formation that worked three days previous.

_————————-_—————————————-

im really not being ridiculous & that post was a crock of shite, here’s why

His lack of flexibility and playing the same way hasn’t done us bad the last 2 years.

Klopp ‘shoehorning’ Minamino into a roll he’s not suited? I’ll trust Klopp on that one.

Klopp doesn’t ‘integrate’ players the way city do? Well, it’s a lot easier to integrate multiple multi million pound footballers into the team.

United use rotation better? Yes they do. We have a better 1st 13 or 14 (3 of them out for the season, one still out after 3 months, lost Thiago for 2 months whilst 2 of them have been playing in a position alien to them)  but underneath that? United probably have stronger squad players so they can rotate more without a stark drop off in quality.

The old chestnut ‘teams have figured us out’. Teams tried the same last season, only this time, the team is suffering, whether that’s a loss of form, fatigue, over compensating for the loss a CB, I don’t know. We miss Virg’s presence at attacking set pieces, we miss his long raking balls out of defence, we could play with a higher line and impose ourselves more on the opposition. As well as his voice. We are missing him.

If we had all our players available, even allowing for the odd 2,3,4 week lay off, we’d have enough quality to rotate. Given the circumstances we’re not actually doing too bad. But that post was from someone who was over critical last season. So no surprise really. Looking over his posts, he also says this of COVID...............

Its a load of shit. Another socially engineered move driven by mass media. FFS its no different than normal flu and in no way stacks up against other diseases thats cost thousands of lives year in year out. Its a load of sensationalist nonsense.

No i am sure they all just posted things like 'oh well done, Everton deserved that at least'.....'oh jolly bad luck us not seeing that out there, just a few more seconds'.....'ah well 1 pt is better than 0'....'at least we led for most of the game'.....'thats another vital point picked up in our chase of man city, not two lost at all'.....

As much as I hate Utd and I know it could benefit us if we win tomorrow but I still can’t cheer them cunts getting a last minute equaliser .

And we can't even have a crack at them for rolling over against one of the Mancs to fuck us over.

Frustrating all round.

And I didn’t

I doubt any of us cheered mate. I laughed. Fuck everton, they don't mean anything to us in the grand scheme of things. utd dropping points does. It was a good result for us.

Very frustrating that Cavani’s still absolutely brilliant.

Yeah a good signing, sadly.

I can't imagine what it was about a striker with more than 400 career goals which led Man U scouts to believe he would be a success in the Premier League...

Yeah but he has zero resale value, so if you really think about it is he actually a good signing though?

You know things are bad when we're jealous United gave obscene wages to a striker with 7 goals in 22 games. I mean, I like(d) Cavani as much as the next guy, but he's been ok at best.

That's one way of spinning it. Another is that he has scored 6 and assisted twice in around 8 games worth of game time.

Yeah, we've been insisting United and their players are shit, and now ok at best, while they've steadily eased their way above us on the table.

I know.

When you're shitter though, it's maybe a bit "Bloo" to call out others.

I'd like to be calling it from 25 points in front again.

Yeah fair point, but its not going to stop me rubbing my mates faces in it when their most glorious of seasons ends the same way as the rest of them have recently (hopefully).

Yes, the joy at United failing is nonetheless unbounded.

Let's hope it's at least 31 years.

If we had Cavani this season, we would be about 7 points better off. I definitely can't see how he doesn't make a huge difference in a lot of the games especially in the last 5 weeks. Secondly, because he is properly world class, Jurgen may have been more open to resting Sadio, Mo or Bobby in games which keeps them fresh.

Who gives a fuck about resale value, imagine we followed suit like they did and resigned Suarez, he’s been unreal for Atleti.

The reason those cunts last won the title was because they got carried by 31 year old RVP, you give Cavani chances he’ll score which is more that can be said of our current number 9 you know the false 9 that offers fuck all and has stank it out for ages and doesn’t score goals
