Outstanding footballer. He has the tools to get to the very top. My gut tells me that he is a knobhead, but he seems to take his football seriously enough to be an incredible player.

I'd take Grealish in a heartbeat here. He grafts aswell. His ability is on par with how much of a dickhead he looks and I really can't pay a higher compliment than that.

Massive fan of him (and I kind of called him in the Championship and last season, credit to me), but he did a Zaha when he signed a new deal this summer. He's not leaving Villa now.

By the way, that Arsenal -Villa game... I said it in the thread before the 2-7 game, Villa have actually built a decent squad. They've spent a shit load of money and failed along the way, but you look at signings like Mings, Konsa, Douglas Luiz, McGinn and they hit on Watkins too. Decent stuff.

 

But Arsenal, fucking hell. The Willian contract was absurd. He was good for about a game and now he's back to being the most overrated guy in the league. And he's 32, on a 3 year contract. Such mismanagement. Even the Aubameyang contract was kind of absurd. Maybe they felt they couldn't let their best player go and it would look bad, but he doesn't look arsed now after getting a big payday and he's now under contract for a while into his 30's. Just stupid from them.

Goes with the territory of playing in Europe but this season's crazy scheduling is deffo helping the teams who arent in Europe and will ditch both domestic cups to concentrate on the PL.

Only two of Arsenal's side played in the no-hoper on Thursday, but I accept it is still an inconvenience for the non-starters with travelling and not being able to focus on Villa until late-Friday or Saturday.

Apparently Arteta has got a similar if not slightly worse record than Emery having managed the same amount of games.

 

I love Arsenal missing out on the Champions League. They always used to celebrate 4th like a trophy and apart from 2006 do absolutely nothing in it. I used to work with a bad knobhead Arsenal fan who used to laugh at us when we never qualified even though they'd never won a European Cup. 

 

Their fans cant be arsed with the Europa, that year they got to the final most of their games were played in front of hardly any fans.

Willian is a great footballer. Most overrated by whom? If anything he’s underrated.

Sepp had a higher profile than me, he can't be openly perverted whereas I can. Not that I was,  was just watching a game of ball, it was a decent game for such a shite standard. They also swapped the whole team out a few times like they do in basketball which was a bit weird.

You, clearly. You called him great a sentence ago. Mo Salah is great, Willian has been decent. 100 goals in 600 career games reflects that.
