A lesson for all those who thought Chelsea were going to transform into some almighty team this year -- you can probably count on one hand the amount of sides that improve when they try to transfer-in 5 or 6 new first teamers in one go (ironically 04/05 Chelsea probably the brightest one). Meanwhile history is littered with failures (us & Spurs to name two big recent examples). To make matters worse, they've completely neglected their weaknesses.

3 good years in Milan and then spent 8 years in a poor league only have to turn up for Champions League football and the league was a walk over. He was a good defender but not close to Ramos,van Dijk etc
