Wolves will be fine. They have had 2 or 3 openings in this game that should have done better with. This game isn't done by a long way.

The ease at which refs give free kicks to city vs to their opponents never ceases to amaze me, too.

 

and why does sterling not get booked for diving in the first few minutes? He threw himself down hoping a clip of his heel would come to justify it after. He didn’t end up getting clipped so didn’t squeal, but he was still sprawled on his front having dived.

They only won the second one because of Ederson getting himself sent off though. I think City, given the preposterous resources at their disposal, should always be favourites for each competition they enter (and will be much closer to their tally of two seasons ago than last year's 81 points), but it’s no surprise to see them beat a Wolves side that has gotten weaker over the summer.
