The Beach Boys are not as good as The Beatles. Don't forget The Wrecking Crew played most of their best stuff in the studio.

I love The Kinks, but they aren't on the same plane as The Beatles.

Going by the british tournament I thought it was a criteria for a few bands, I like them.

 

They have been around for some time now, they have shown they can adapt and still be  popular 15 years after the big breakthrough and they have sold loads.

The Kinks are a brilliant band, certainly in with a shout of winning the UK competition, but there is no band on either side of the Atlantic to touch The Beatles.

 

Even on the forum, where some ‘interesting’ votes have taken place, I’d expect a three way play off between the winners of both the UK and US competitions and The Beatles to be a fairly comfortable victory for the Fab Four.
