I liked Oasis the first few years, Maine Road was a great day out that will live in the memory but these days I would not choose to listen to them.

The Fall, as I said in the last round  I don't know a single song and they seem to be a band that everyone says they like but deep down, do they really?

Anyway, Oasis.

I've been to a few Fall gigs back in the late 80s and they weren't great

Also, Mark E Smith was a bad bellend

Oasis, also Mancs, also bad bellends but catchier tunes and , to some extent, helped to define the late 90s

Fuck me, though, I've never seen so much fake Burberry tat and silly hats than at an Oasis concert.

Despite all that they scrape my vote

Slag them off as people all you want.

Personally I think Noel Gallagher has shown with his solo music (or with his new band?) that he was always the brains behind Oasis.

18 months and about an album and a half.

If ever there was a definition of believing their own press it is this shower.

Aye, then a load of cocaine then the horror of Be Here Now. It's the story of the British music industry really.

To be fair, it is probably just the music industry, I give you The Strokes for the US equivalent.

You've really not heard any music by High Flying Birds?
