Oasis are one of the most important and best bands ever to exist.

Oasis by a mile. 
 

No one ever has anything to say about the music of The Fall, just tales of when they seen them live. 
 

“It was amazing, he came on stage and sanded the floor for an hour and then put some drum sticks up his arse”

Oasis.
 

Noel isn’t Lennon/McCartney when it comes to song writing, he’s not even George Harrison. Liam isn’t Jagger, Mercury, Daltry or Plant. The rest of them, whatever the lineup, aren’t anything in particular. 

 

However, they had some belting good songs, had moments of popularity like few other bands, before or since and certainly weren’t boring. 
 

The Fall are musically important in a different way but, in this tie, it’s Oasis all the way.
