They're a good band don't get me wrong, but I've never understood how Depeche Mode became platinum selling, mega stadium filling, world superstars. Fair play to them, like.

This story of Martin Gore going into a pub in his home town wearing nail varnish made me laugh when I saw it. Great documentary that Synth Britannia if you’ve never seen it, I caught it on BBC4 so might be on their iPlayer.
