And even that's not as good as Live at Hull...

 

I really wish either or both of those gigs had been videoed, they're absolutely sensational. Even the banter with the crowd is superb.

There is actually some Leeds footage kicking about.

 

Luckily we have the Isle of Wight & Tanglewood videos from around that time.

Shane McGowan is one of the finest songwriters of all time. I love The Pogues. Pete Townshend helped invent Marshall stacks, has a dodgy Internet search history and invented the horror that is rock opera. It's still The Who though, by as far as Roger Daltrey can see.
