Arctic Monkeys are a really fucking good band. well they were until Alex disappeared up his own arse.

So, up until Brianstorm.

Voted Arctics, can't beat a £5 gig at the barfly for a band I'd never heard of and basically got the first album in full pushed through my ears.  Must have been the only person in the room that hadn't heard the demos.

Fair play.

Saw them at Reading festival literally weeks after they released Humbug. They headlined the Saturday night and came on AFTER the Prodigy. Needless to say it was fucking garbage (who wouldn't be after them?) . That said, that headline gig at Glastonbury a year or so after they released their first song was a fucking stormer.
