His success originated with limitless money and that cunt Mourinho.  It’s hardly a surprise his management style is going down the same route.  The problem for him is that Mourinho won stuff early because he could outspend every club in the league by laughable amounts.  He can’t do that and has Klopp to compete with.

I've think that's harsh on Maureen, I can't stand the cunt but he's a very good manager with an excellent CV. Frank's completely out of his depth.

The problem with these ex-players getting the big club jobs is they haven't earnt their stripes elsewhere, lack the foundations and being a successful manager is incredibly difficult.

We are extremely lucky to have a once in a generational talent like Jürgen.

Klopp took over a woefully unbalanced side in 10th place who finished 6th the season before, leading us to 2 cup finals in his first part season. Top 4 the next season, for only the second time in 7 years, top 4 and CL final the next, league challenge and CL win the next, league, super cup and club world cup wins the next, currently top and comfortably the best side in the country.

Where's the period he's either underperformed in or not shown solid progress constantly?

Desperate stuff from the fat knacker. Hope he gets to see the season out.

I’m not saying he’s a bad manager.  He’s clearly done some things against the odds but by and large he’s had a lot of money, usually the most in his league by some distance.  After winning trophies early on it always turns sour as players and owners grow sick of his attitude.  Everything that goes right is down to him and everything wrong is someone else’s fault.

He’s just a PR machine.  Lampard is clearly trying the same shit.

I think the thing that Mourinho going to United proved was that hiring managers with good CV’s isn’t a guarantee of working.  In fact it has more chance of doing the opposite and worse.  They get too much power and respect and end up crippling the club with poor spending.  The reason we are seeing ex players with little experience being given a go is because these clubs need to try something different.  Shithousing your way to trophies just won’t work while Klopp and Guardiola are around never mind the top sides in Europe like Bayern.  They’re going for ex players in the hope that they’ve been in the game recently and seen how the top managers work.

The problem for Lampard is what I mentioned above.  Solskjaer was for playing under Ferguson who’s football wouldn’t be as outdated now as Mourinho’s funnily enough.  The problem for them is he’s not playing in that manner at all.  Arteta is probably likely to be the best of the 3 but has the worst team and the least money to spend.  He’s learned from another guy who’s won it all but only when the circumstances are absolutely perfect.

As good as Mourinho was his style of football is dead. He might win a title in a odd season, or be good in cups but since winning the league in 2012  with Madrid

EFL Cup: 2016–17

UEFA Europa League: 2016–17

That's spending

38ml Real(2012/13)

323ml at Chelsea

419ml at Utd

130ml at Spurs

Over 900ml spent in 8 years and a league cup and Europa to show for it

Edit corrected, he won a title for Chelsea the cunt

Much as I loathe the little skidmark, he won the premier league at Chelsea in 14/15 too.

Fwank knows he's on borrowed time with Abramovic. As a player, he's seen how he treats the manager even if they have won stuff. Although I dont know if there's any substance to it that Fwank was a favourite of Abramovic, he will still expect a trophy for £200m+ spending. That's why Fwank's getting these shit excuses in about us being allowed 2000 fans in the stadium. He might go on about scheduling of games over Christmas but his team only has to travel 20 odd miles while we have 800 mile round trip.

Every Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd fan on Twatter always compares their situation with Liverpool when Klopp took over. Completely ignoring the fact that Klopp was already a successful manager, didn't have tons of cash, inherited a shit squad and then got to two cup finals in his first season.

He also got Liverpool into consecutive CL finals, winning one, which is more than Arsenal in their history.

He's fucking shit. Spent £200m+ and wants to sign that Declan Rice from West ham who's going to cost at least another £50m even in this market. Only thing is if Abramovic does bin off his favourite, there's talk they may go for Tutchel as his replacement.

Which wouldn't be a disaster as he's not a top class manager.

It's brilliant, and long may it continue.

All of them need to give their managers a 5-year bumper contract, and Klopp's total spend (not net) since he got here.
