Watching Lampard throwing shade at Liverpool's staff last night, what struck me was not the specific accusation, which was standard post-match salt, but how he really thinks they are plucky underdogs taking on the Scahrse behemoth. It's not exactly like the 80's - they are currently so flush that they might accidentally stumble on a winning formula - but the notion that there will be an infrastructure at Chelsea that will endure post-Abramovich has been shattered by Klopp. Back on our perch.

Point taken re the ' underdogs ' thing , but we have won the league by a million miles hardly dropping points on the way so we are a scouse behemoth to everybody bar City at this point. 

 

As you can imagine I am desperate for your last sentence to be true and I think we will be ok without bad injuries next season but worry thereafter if we don't start spending some moolah.
