No, it doesn’t interest me, I was just making a casual observation

It's a popular observation and one that's trotted out time after time, both sides do indeed complain about bbc coverage just as both sides harass the ref in a football match but their are undeniable links between the Conservative party and the BBC

I always find the left accuse the BBC of being a Tory Government mouthpiece and the right of it being a Leftie anti establishment cabal. Which suggests to me they’ve probably got the balance about right. Not that I watch much of it in fairness

I think, in general, the right get pissed off because they find the BBC's entertainment and documentary output to be excessively "woke" and the left claim that the BBC's news and politics are a bit Tory. Because the two sides are complaining about two different things, I don't think they cancel each other out.

What I find strange is that anyone would single her out for 'fuming' about it. Twitter was ablaze last night with people, across the political spectrum (some no doubt with their own agendas...) condemning the footage.

I watched the situation unfolding, and it became clear pretty early on that Erikson was fighting for his life, as the cameras started zooming in on the protective shield his teammates, some of them in tears, drew around him, trying to find a chink in that shield so we could see possibly his last breaths. They were showing us the medics doing chest compressions and using defibrillators FFS! It was at that point I'd had enough and stopped watching. I've since heard that they also proceeded to show his wife, distraught and confused, being consoled while the medics were trying to revive him.

At what point do you think the producers might have said "we know something bad is going on here, let's leave it"?

Because she has a blue check mark and that carries a form of influence. It's snide for someone with 300k+ followers to call for someone's job in that way.

"Magnus, Aksel, get your coats, Sarkar wants your heads on a plate."

"Sarkar, boss?"

"Yes. Ash Sarkar. The libertarian Communist from Britain. 300k Twitter followers. And a blue tick. We can't ignore that sort of pressure."

Fucking hell

Yeah, ok, hilarious dialogue there, mate.

I don't think you get social media if you don't think blue check marks and people with high follower counts don't have any influence. She has infinitely more social capital than some camera guy at the BBC. Calling for these people jobs is massively punching down. It's pathetic, honestly.

If you really believe that the Danish executives who'll decide the Danish camera operators jobs will be swayed in any way by what Ash fucking Sarkar has to say on the matter then my hilarious dialogue is all that's warranted.

And for all this talk on here about her 'demanding', 'insisting', 'calling for' their sackings, from what I can see she made one comment, immediately after the incident, where she did that. And people here want to talk about perspective?

To be fair I think she's got a point, totally insensitive and unprofessional be the BBC.Contrast how quick they were to throw a shield around one of their own

First thing I thought. Awful of the bbc and if someone did make a concious decision to “keep showing” then fuck them. A proper investigation should be done though before people start hanging others out to dry at the drop of a hat.

Isn’t she the porn star? Disgusting if it actually is her. As disgusting as the thousands trending “death to Arabs” before the idf unleashed hell on innocent civilians.

The BBC will not show the death of a horse if one breaks its leg at Royal Ascot tomorrow, they won't show the Jockey on the floor or the face of the distraught owner/trainer.

The BBC cut all its broadcasts within moments of the announcement that Prince Philip had died of old age.

Danish TV and other broadcasters went to a long shot of the stadium or handed back to their respective studios. They decided not to show the emotions of a woman witnessing the possible death of her husband. The BBC has an army of live broadcasters who are experienced at unfolding live events. The Danish players were quick minded enough to form a shield and they had more pressing matters on their mind, surely that shouldve been enough of a hint for the BBC controller to head back to the studio?

Sakars right, the BBC cunt deserves the sack.

Aye, sure The Telegraph sacked you because they wanted to appease the snowflakes. Just a two page spread in The Mail like all cancelled people get.

"We live in an age of insanity, where harassment is justice" But it doesn't count when you cunts harass Meghan Markle right?

To paraphrase AoT - don't be a cunt. Burchill was a cunt - she isn't cancelled, but her employers have decided she is too big a cunt. That is the Telegraph deciding you are too big a cunt to employ.

In her defense - the Telegraph have more likely decided she isn't worth the hassle in defending her. She is a disposable cunt.

The media is an absolute disgrace, the power the likes of the mail has to get people foaming at the mouth is astonishing. Murdoch and Rothmere have probably caused more damage and misery in this country than anybody outside of war or terrorists. The dregs from the depths of humanity who poison everything to line their own pockets and feather their own nests.

The Express, in particular, get their readers riled up against the evils of Inheritance Tax (which only the wealthiest 7% pay). It's almost impressive.

Only the top 7% have means and ways of avoiding, it does affect a fair few lower down the food chain.

There's a system whereby you morgatage everything up to the hilt so on your death houses or anything else solid count as liabilities, so a fund is set up that immediately pays the creditors on death, they recieve minimal interest or a fee of sorts, and the former liabilities transfer over as assests and aviod all that sorid tax stuff the little people pay.

There's even a way of writing down value of asssests linked to this which protect the investment portfolio.

This avoids paying anything, smart eh?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you will never convince me that Murdoch isn't the most dangerous man on the planet.
