Another win and 3 points towards breaking more records, weird game though. We started off like a house on fire thanks to some great pressing from Nabby, Bobby and Ox. It caused Brighton all kinds of problems and led to mistakes and two early goals, Henderson's finish was really nice. We still played some nice stuff when going forward with the ball but became sloppy in midfield and defence without it, well apart from big Virg who was magnificent most of the night. Keita with his best game for us thus far, really good. Young Neco started off well, played in some dangerous crosses, made a great block when wandering into his natural position to cover. He was found out a few times after he got that yellow card though and I think it was the right decision to hook him at H/T. No doubting the lad has potential and he'll have learned a lot from that 45 minutes at this level. Salah looked hungry and with a bit of luck he could have had 4 or 5 goals tonight. Gomez was fucking terrible, looks like he's just switched off as he was lazy as fuck when asked to put a bit of effort in to defend. Seems strange that Keita had his best game by far, Mo got two goals and was a thorn in their side all night but VVd gets my MOTM over the 90 minutes.

On to Burnley at home next and hopefully another 3 points. I want us to break the points total to win a title, to win all our home games which would also beat the mancs/Chelsea and City who all won 18 home games and also to beat City's most wins in a Pl season, they had 32 and we are now currently on 30 wins with 4 games left. These dangling carrots will hopefully spur these lads on.

BTW. Fair fucks to Brighton who kept at it and didn't let a 2-0 early set back result in a damage limitation exercise which most teams would have adopted.

Fairly comfortable win. Brighton did okay, but you felt that we could always step up a gear and blow them away.

Salah was bright. Keita had a great 60 odd minutes and Wijnaldum was everywhere in the second half.

That bit though when van Dijk headed it up in the air and was about five yards behind the man who the ball was dropping to and he just changed direction and muscled in front of the attack to keep the ball. Absolutely top class.

How cool was the way he dealt with that long ball to Connolly, that just left Carra gasping and laughing?

I have never seen anyone as good as him. An absolute colossus of a defender. We are very lucky to have him.

Remember how they laughed when we splashed out £75 odd million for his services ?

Who's laughing now ?

Salah was absolutely brilliant tonight, at his electric best. Keita was really good and looks encouraging once again, Henderson superb also, really hope injury is nothing serious. That piece of headed control  to himself when Connolly ran in behind was just ridiculous.

Liverpool have now won 30 of their 34 Premier League games this season (drawn two, lost two); this is the fastest any side has ever reached 30 wins in a season in the history of the English Football League.

THIS is how you do firsts.

(and the ref is still a twat)

Their left back is about 7 foot and the right back about 4 foot.

And their centrebacks are 5 and 6 foot.

Should have put them in height order when defending corners and they would have looked like a massive set of pan pipes.

This guy whoever he is , is bang on about this depressing cunt, if he genuinely doesn't want us to win then stop doing our games , I mean it's bad enough without atmosphere but then you have to listen to this dreary cunt all game .
