I wouldn't be averse to the idea of giving someone like Nat Philips the job of returning the compliment on Richarlison in the return fixture.

Knowing our luck he'd injure himself badly trying.

Didn't Thiago have Covid? Could it be a long Covid situation I wonder if they don't know what's wrong with him?

Jesus, it's a kick just under his knee cap. Unless richarlison gave him covid again.

Was thinking more the "He's not getting better and nobody knows why" aspect of the injury bants.

Klopp confirmed it was to do with the Richardson challenge

I'm not one for advocating such behaviour but I would happily see the cunt snapped in 4 never mind in half.

I heard yesterday he was pulled out of training on Friday. He's been training of sorts since the injury and they're now trying complete rest as they don't have a clue what's wrong. Next step is another medical opinion (I think there's been two already outside of our team, but I wasn't told this yesterday). There's no expectation on a return date at all - effectively he's made next to zero progress since the injury itself.

Shit. That's not good news at all.

One thing is for sure, as much as there might be a temptation to rush him back, I'd rather ease him back in and if that means January or February, then so be it. 3-4 months of this guy at the business end of the season could be the difference.

Prettying worrying if it’s true, if no one has a clue. Thanks for the info, mate !

It is worrying, but who knows, maybe 3 or 4 days complete rest and it'll settle in a way it hasn't before. Even if the settling allows them to at least know what the fuck is wrong with him. Years ago you used to hear about injuries like this all the time because of bits of floating bone (although I think players used to play through stuff like that then), but I assume technology has improved so that can no longer be the case.

That fucking Everton game is turning out to be the shitty gift that keeps giving. Unbelievable the number of knock on effects those 2 injuries have had on us

Good news that the scans show no damage. Hopefully it’s just a case of resting it for a few more weeks.

I’m still furious at the challenge, it was absolutely disgraceful.

Thiago ain't playing again this season is he or if he is you just known this kind of injury tends to lead to other niggling injuries

Fucking shame that such a wonderful graceful player has his season cut short by a cunt of a challenge by a shithouse of a player who also rather than accept what he did tried to feign injury to escape being sent off

i definitely don't think we will see him in 2020 anyway.  what bothers me is they don't know what is wrong.

Jurgen Klopp "Thiago we have to clarify a little bit. Nothing is ruptured, nothing is broken, but the impact on the leg was that big, it is still not OK. It's not massive, he trains from time to time, but it will take some more steps. It will take a few weeks still."
