We'll have less of these well balanced and sensible posts please. Knee jerking, name calling, knicker wetting and constant barracking are the only things allowed.

Didn’t you dismiss Thiago as a luxury player just last week after a MOTM performance from him and whilst rushing to credit Fabinho instead in this very thread? I have no issues with that per se, but people are allowed to call you out on it without being accused of “…knee jerking, name calling, knicker wetting and constant barracking”, no?

What are you on about? I said that when Fabinho is on form our midfield and defence really clicks as he allows others to do their thing. I said Thiago is a superb but needs to stay fit for a proper judgement. He's staying fit and we are winning games. That's all that matters.

I broke a habit yesterday and went for a pre-match pint yesterday, so I belatedly learned that his song has a verse. I approve - especially in light of his recent performances.

'Roll you like a Cuban?' What? Kidnap you in Havana, rob you and push you out of a speeding Taxi?

Players who can do what he does are endlessly fascinating, just to see how they find time and space for their play. Molby was still worth watching even in masters' games, when he looked like Alfred Hitchcock getting ready for the paddling pool, because he still moved the ball around wherever he wanted without any effort while other were staggering around breathless. Thiago is a joy to watch.

His passing technique is like nothing I’ve seen. He almost exaggerates the curve of his pass to get to his target.

Yeah.

Sometimes it nearly look like he hyper-extends his knee to fizz the pass!

Joy to watch.

And it’s almost always a pass to where it should be to. You don’t see the receiving player having to break stride, or go back a bit to collect.

It feels like he’s been here five minutes but I’m basically in love with the man.
