If we could genetically meld Keita, Chamberlain and Shaqiri into one player we might have a first team option.

Unfortunately it would still be injured most of the time.

Maybe it’s like The Picture Of Dorian Gray - Ox, Keita and Weeble get all the injuries Bobby. Mane and Salah should get so the front three are always fit.

Much how I thought it would go , having watched us years ago after wrapping up leagues.

Would be pleased to break the league record and complete a home game win whitewash,  but if we don't we are still the champions for the first time in 30 years , and I imagine the players have an element of this feeling even if Jurgen us shouting at them.

The players are finding it difficult to get physically and mentally tuned in to the task at hand because, other than trying to set a new points record and completing a clean sweep at home, there isn't much left for them to play for. The main job has been done already. As a result, we are seeing disjointed performances like these.

That doesn't excuse some of the individual calamities and cruising through games we've seen from a few of our players. Intensity is our identity, as the saying goes. That means intensity of application as well as intensity of focus. It's something the squad needs to learn and adapt to quickly. Doing it when you have a target to aim for is one thing, but keeping it going when a race has been won is the next challenge. Being able to do that means that slackness and thinking you've won it all will simply not do.

Good goals from Sadio and Curtis. The latter opening his Premier League account a day after signing a new contract, just like Saka of Arsenal. Hopefully Curtis can get a few more appearances under his belt in the remaining games.

The slapdicks in the VAR studio need to get off Netflix and start paying attention to the games. They've dropped quite a few clangers this week.

This really cannot be stressed enough - after the euphoria of the Champions League win and that celebration, the disappointment of the way this season has panned out has to be massive - understandably has taken a little of the monster out of the mentality monsters.

You also have to factor in next season which will be starting on the 12th of September, with the title already wrapped up why play with our usual intensity. Our last game is on the 26th July whereas City, United and Wolves will play beyond that due to still being in Europe. If they make the final they'll still be playing competitive football until the 23rd August in the CL and the 21st in the Europa League.
