Man City Evens on Sky Bet. Ordinarily, I’d say a wager here would be akin to printing money.

Personally, I never bet on Liverpool games but, even if I did, I still wouldn’t touch this. The ‘will to win’ mentality of this team means, even they have been on the ale (they obviously won’t have been) since last week, it wouldn’t surprise me if they still just found a way.

I do think they may lose tonight but I certainly wouldn’t bet on it.

Really want to go there as champions, but i very much doubt chelsea have the backbone to take anything off the cheats tonight.

The fact that Chelsea subsequently got bummed by West Ham just makes last week's result even funnier.

I know I shouldn't, but I really like the thought of the guard of honour sticking in Guardiola's craw.

He's probably one of the few people at that club who is ok with doing it. Most of them, press office and boardroom in particular, will be seething about it as they've got a massive chip on their shoulder about the Reds.

Hoping that Gomez ensures he makes eye contact with Sterling while he's applauding.

Think you're spot on there, Dave. I think the players and coaching staff will be ok with it. Isnt one of Rafa's backroom staff Guardiola's 2nd in command or something?

Sure one of two players may not like it but I think they are the exception, more danny murphy types in fact!

Oh and Id take a draw right now.

I just can’t see anything other than a City win. I remember us playing the top sides in situations similar to this and we seemed to nearly always win? City will be ridiculously up for this. We will be up for it too, but I wonder if we might just be off it that 1% that makes all the difference in a game of this level.

They'll be up for it but there's Fernandinho and they'll have to play Walker, Otamendi and Mendy/Zinchenko in their back four.

If the front three are on it, we could cut them apart. Look for Bobby early doors, if he's playing well, we'll win easily.

I know Erdinger is pricey and it's a nice drink but fuck paying £50 for 24 cans.

They’re 500ml cans, same size as the bottles, 24 bottles would cost you £36-40 from a supermarket. I don’t think an extra tenner on that price for them with free delivery is bad at all.

I'd never pay that for it though, certainly not a case at a time. I get it's not a massive hike and can definitely see the attraction of it.

But I always found Erdinger to be a 2/3 pint limit rather than a session beer, much like Guinness.
