If you want to talk funny, just remind me when was the last time any Liverpool team, including one that got relegated to Division 2 lost 4 league games out of 8?

2015/16 season - between 'game weeks' 15 and 22.

LDLWWLDL

To be fair of course even that shite run would be enough from here.

We actually managed it twice in one season in 2014/15....

Between games 4-11

LLDWWDLL (we also lost game 12 so 5 in 9)

and between games 31-38

LWDLWDLL (we also lost game 30 ahead of this so 5 in 9)

I couldn’t muster up any enthusiasm to get angry! Very disappointing. I’ve put on a couple of games but turned over after about half hour. It really is rubbish without the fans.

I must admit I thought our lads would be really fit not sluggish.

I prefer the crowd noise. It makes watching more palatable than the noiseless stadium.

Lovren will score the winner that brings us the title at the Etihad, and you lowly dogs will bow to your football god.

Terrible game and performance, the fake crowd noise added to the annoyance and frustration of watching it.

The way City have shot out of the blocks is making it look and feel worse, hopefully Wednesday will see us a bit more fired up.

What a relief though to see them back out there, to be able to play this season out and take whatever may come knowing it was done as normally as can be.

And wouldn't it be glorious to see Lovren score the golden goal! He isn't quite good enough for us, but he does not deserve the disgusting stick he takes from some of our "support".

I think Klopp went cautious because of the City result against Arsenal. If Arsenal had miraculously beat City, I think Klopp would have thrown everything at Everton to win it but seeing as it lost that 'title winning game' status it's understandable it was a cautious approach. It didn't need to be as terrible as it was, but i wasn't expecting free flowing football either, and tomorrow versus Palace should, SHOULD, be more attacking and playing to win, as 3pts in this and Liverpool can take Cities title off them by not losing against them at the Etihad. I think that's got to be the current plan.

I’m not surprised with that game we are never great after any sort of break (look at the winter one) so it was a bit much after a three month layoff to expect us to rack up and rip them to bits. Especially when you consider Everton would have been massively up for this game when they’d been force fed about us winning the league there even behind closed doors .
You’ll  get a better impression of how shite they are with the remaining  games of the season.

People saying we could lose the league from here well it could happen anything can, but to put into into context we could lose tomorrow and City win their next two games and we’d still be 14 points clear with six games to go....You’d have took anyone’s hands off for that sort of lead at the restart, plus we aren’t a team of bottlers anymore .

Thats not to say my arse won’t be twitching if that does happen

"I think that might have been the last time we even remotely threatened until Fabinho saw a decent free-kick tipped over by Pickford. We don’t usually see him on set-pieces but that was a decent effort. Maybe he’ll get another chance, as I do feel we all vastly over-rate how good Trent is at free-kicks. He’s alright like, but he’s not the lethal dead ball specialist he’s portrayed as (here’s hoping I’ve reverse jinxed him there and he pings one into the top corner against Palace or City)."

Nailed it!
