I went to Prague and the food was decidedly average I thought.

Dutch food is pretty shite too (sorry @cloggypop). I enjoy those Argentinian steakhouses in Amsterdam though.

I went to Zurich for the day and the only veggie meal available was a plate of mushrooms. So I'm going to say Swiss.

 

The food in Lisbon was generally mediocre too, so you can add Portugal to the list.

North America for obvious reasons, although they do some good stuff if you go off the beaten track.

Dutch food is wank unless you love mashed potato as much as Bodger & Badger. 

 

Indonesian and Surinaamse food here is boss though.

Somalian food is so unbelievably bad.

 

Because they were colonised by Italians they have really bad pasta as a staple which is mixed with various other Somalian ‘delicacies’.

 

It’s genuinely horrible.

Mongolian restaurants over here are far superior IMO, although there is one Chinese one down the road which is top notch.

It's definitely hard to think of a region where the food is terrible since everywhere has something that is unappealing, but the Scandinavians have a way of making seafood totally unappetising. They're responsible for things like surstromming, lutefisk and rollmops.

There used to be a Russian restaurant in Liverpool, I went there a couple of times and it was decent. Their mushroom blini were fantastic.
