He was still playing about a year ago in the Leinster Senior League in Ireland.

I’ve never forgiven him for a penalty miss at Anfield, which cost me a fair few quid in winnings. I had Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal + Fowler 1st goalscorer. We were winning 2-0 when Arsenal were awarded a penalty late on. Suker stepped up, struck the ball like a toddler and Westerveld easily saved.

 

Speaking of Sander Westerveld...

edit: nope, obviously not seeing all the replies. Checked wiki and we signed him from cov.

 

fun fact. He only scored 6 goals for us, and one was the first time I ever went to Anfield. 2-0 vs Spurs. Rush then him.
