Ginola at Everton

Eto’o at Sampdoria

What about this?

I still refuse to believe this happened, how did something this mad manage to happen and I have no memory of it? Some Mandela effect parallel dimension fucking with me.

Eto’o physically looks so different here from his Barcelona days. The hair, the chubby jowls, carrying way too much timber; best to just consider it his evil mediocre twin.

I do remember that one because he was player manager, there was a bit of chatter about it at the time. It is completely batshit though to think a 40-year-old Davids would be kicking about the Conference.

The weird thing about the Palace one was that it seems he hadn't actually played any competitive football for two years before he signed for them...

Southampton reformed the old Chelsea strike partnership of Dixon and Speedie.

A bold move to replace Shearer with these two; great together at Chelsea in the 80s but a complete disaster at The Dell and both left on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Cracking choice, Tony.
