Found some old footy jerseys

I was cleaning out some drawers in my folks house and came across these old jerseys of mine.

1988/9 is a lovely shirt.  The Reebok one's not bad, either.  The chunky collar on the 95/6 one was uncomfortable just to wear around the house; it must have been a nightmare to play football in.  (If I remember rightly, some of our players used to unpick the stitching at the front.)

 

I'll take Thumper's Mum's advice and say nothing about the 93/4 one.

Took all mine to Cambodia two years ago and gave them away to a local football team.

Still got all my retro shirts, back to the 78(?) Umbro home short sleeves and white away long sleeves. Sadly those 2 are too small for me now! Got about 23 shirts I think it is.

 

Ive sold a few on my lad's kids \ small youth size shirts on fleabay.

Someone posted a while back about where you can buy retro shirts but I've lost it. 

It was after a picture of an old VNeck Scotland shirt and the 1950 Cup Final shirt, which looked great

Nice, these are just a couple of years before I started getting shirts most years for my birthday, including the red "6 stripe" one. My first was the '92 away centenary shirt, not a favourite but the only one that I don't still have! I've got plenty of the Adidas and Reebok ones up until the mid-00's, will dig them out at some point.

Yeah, I've a load of Ged and Rafa era shirts.  Stopped buying them 9 or 10 years ago.  I'm too old to be wearing footy shirts.  I think I posted them up here before?

I sold 60 of my old shirts to Art of Football for £10 each. They turn them into bucket hats & turn a tidy profit. Was a saviour being on universal credit.

I recently found an old (early 90s?) picture of myself in that shirt.   It was too big for me, but still a lovely shirt.
