I wonder if LFC sense a rule-change in the air post-Brexit, and have seen Sancho as being the safest bet, and capable of filling 2 of the 3 forward positions. 

 

For the same reason, I think City will chase him hard as well, with Sane likely moving on, and then being able to market Sterling and Sancho together will appeal massively to more young fans.  They'll corner the vossy market. 

 

I like Havertz a lot, though I get the feeling Bayern will target him and he'll be likely to accept. 

 

Werner is a top class, elite striker, but he's literally tied to that 1 position if we're being honest about it.  I think Klopp wants more choice, more fluidity across the front 3.
