Men hired for sexual fantasy break into wrong house

  •  29 May 2020

In a sex fantasy gone wrong, two men with machetes entered the wrong house in New South Wales, Australia, before quickly realising their error.

One of them has now been acquitted of entering a home armed with a weapon in July 2019, Australian media report.

They had been hired to carry out a client's fantasy of being tied up in his underwear and stroked with a broom.

The judge concluded that "the facts of the case are unusual".

The role play was arranged over Facebook by a man near Griffith, New South Wales, who provided his address to the hired pair.

"He was willing to pay A$5,000 if it was 'really good'," the judge said.

However, the client moved to another address 50km (30 miles) away without updating the two men. They then entered a home on the street of the original address.

When the resident noticed a light on in his kitchen at 06:15, he assumed it was a friend who came by daily to make morning coffee.

When the men called out the name of their client, the resident turned on the light and removed a sleep apnoea mask he was wearing.

It was then that he saw them standing above his bed with the machetes, which they appeared to have brought as props for the role play

When they realised their error, one of the pair said, "Sorry, mate", and shook the resident's hand, according to local reports.

The two men then drove to the correct address, where the client noticed one man had a "great big knife" in his trousers and asked them to leave the weapons in their car.

The client then cooked bacon, eggs and noodles, and a short time later, the police arrived at the property, found the machetes in the car and arrested the hired pair.

The judge ruled that evidence did not suggest the men's actions were intentional.

"They carried the machetes either as a prop or something to use in that fantasy," he said. "The fantasy was unscripted and there was discretion as to how it would be carried out."

A lawyer for Terrence Leroy, one of the accused, said: "It was a commercial agreement to tie up and stroke a semi-naked man in his underpants with a broom. Entry was not with intent to intimidate."

Woman who killed baby in Kambalda caravan park after years of stepfather's abuse sentenced for infanticide

The "tragic" details behind the death of a newborn baby 25 years ago in a toilet at a remote WA caravan park have been laid bare in a Perth court with the sentencing of the child's mother, a victim of sexual abuse, for killing him.

The woman, who is now 39, had only just turned 14 in July 1995 when she gave birth alone to the boy in a toilet cubicle at a caravan park in the Goldfields town of Kambalda, 600 kilometres east of Perth.

The Perth Children's Court was told the baby had started crying, so the woman stuffed toilet paper in his mouth to keep him quiet, but the baby suffocated.

She left the baby's body in the toilet bowl covered by paper and went to another toilet block where she cleaned herself up before returning to the caravan where she was staying with relatives.

The baby's body was found the next day.

Investigators named him "Rijul", which means "innocent" in Hindi, and he was buried in the Kalgoorlie cemetery at a service attended by about 50 people.

For the next 24 years the woman kept secret what had happened, but last year her crime was revealed after she was arrested in the eastern states on another matter.

State prosecutor Robert Owen told the court the woman's hand and fingerprints were taken, and when they were put into a national database, they matched those taken from the toilet cubicle in 1995.

DNA tests confirmed her to be the baby's mother.

WA police flew interstate to interview her and in a videorecorded interview, she admitted what she had done to the child.

She told police she did not know the identity of baby's father because she was "promiscuous" and had slept with 20 or 30 men.

But that was a lie, and later the woman revealed to detectives she was a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of her stepfather.

She told them the abuse started when she was about 10, and continued on a regular basis, even after the pregnancy, until she was about 16 when she left home.

DNA tests confirmed the stepfather was the baby's father.
He was subsequently charged with child sexual abuse, plead guilty, and is due to be sentenced later this year.

The woman was originally charged with murder, but pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of infanticide which the court heard was very unusual and had since been repealed.

Mr Owen described the case as "tragic", saying while the woman was herself a victim of crime, "there was no greater vulnerable victim than a newborn child."

The woman's lawyer, Karen Farley SC, said the fact that the matter had come to light had "really been a relief" for her client.

Ms Farley said the woman was only 13 years old when she fell pregnant and at the time felt she "had no other option than to conceal the birth."

As a result of what happened, the woman had suffered throughout her entire life, and relied on drugs and alcohol to cope with her anxiety and panic attacks, her lawyer said.

The earth would be entirely beautiful if we weren't here, wrecking everything we touch. There would be no one to enjoy it though, as I can't imagine a pack of Wolves going to Niagara Falls for the view.

Really sad story from over there. A 4 year old girl has gone missing from a campsite on the west coast. 5 days she's been missing along with her sleeping bag.

Man, I fucking hate this stuff. It really upsets me.

There have been occasions recently where little ones have gone missing for a few days and been found safe and well. We've just got to hope and pray this will be the same. Bless her.

Terrible stuff but one of the dim Facebook mummies I'm friends with shared a post about this yesterday saying she can't believe this has happened in North Wales and that it was "discusting" there's nothing about it on local news.
