How am I supposed to pull of a Lynyrd Skynyrd 3 guitar attack or a Allman Brothers Band double drummer with this 4 piece shit. 

 

No piano, no over the top full on orchestra

I thought that too, was also going to add rhythm guitar and piano/keyboard player.

Songwriter though... nah. The best songwriters are musicians so if you picked Prince as your songwriter for example you are taking him away from being in a band.

Fair enough, though there have been plenty of decent songwriters who you may not necessarily want as performers in your band: Bernie Taupin, Benny Andersson, Nile Rogers, Paul Simon etc.

Be better getting rid of the album cover and name rather than instruments. Just leave the 6th pick as optional for anything people want. Songwriter, guitarist, piano, sax whatever

Surely you should be able to use the same artist more than once in a different capacity then? Otherwise you could run out of options very fast plus it would make for a more interesting game?
