It’s difficult because who is going to come here and sit on the bench.  Even if Trent has a bad run of form you wouldn’t drop him, the same for Robertson.  If he was older you could sign a young right back who would be happy to learn from him and fill in here and there but it’s a graveyard for anyone because he’s so young himself.  It’s going to have to be Neco Williams but he will stagnate himself if he stays here.

Keep Clyne and sign Cresswell and only play them when you *really* have to.

Clyne is training with the kids he’s that exiled.  He’s clearly done something to the point Klopp doesn’t even want him near the team.  I loved Clyne and couldn’t understand the issue and even thought he should have been starting games while Trent improved the defensive side of his game but fuck me his ship has sailed a long time ago.  Now I actually believe the drug rumours because nothing short of that would have created the situation with him now.  Either way him staying clearly isn’t an option.  Cresswell is a Konchesky waiting to happen.  He peaked a long time ago and has been poor for a while.  Our full backs need to be marathon runner level athleticism.
