Yes, but on the other hand 6 months of additional age and/or a change of registration year really knocks the value of a car down.

 

There will be a lot of car dealers who will have some stock that is either worth less than they paid for it or doesn't get back what they spent on it.

 

It's not too bad with the few odds and sods I buy as I tend to buy stuff that is the basis for a competition car or weird things which maybe have a unique engine that was used to build something for competition where I know because it's unloved I can get them cheap and some of the bits are worth a few quid. The value on those will probably hold, at least I hope so.

 

I had a massive run of parts sales last month and seemed to be doing OK. However, since the 5th I've invoiced a grand total of £15.
