So after spending 14 years having criticised the Tories at every turn for their policies and excesses we’re now supposed to stop because some of you want to look away?

That’s not the case. It’s the hypocrisy of the media.

The good shit, Keir. Do the good shit.

Yep. That's really as simple as that. He can have all the season tickets and prawn sandwiches he wants if they sort this fucking shitshow out. The Tories, of course, destroyed things for their own personal gain. These things aren't the same.

It's the timing that's the issue I suppose. You can't embark on more austerity then spend 2k on glasses, that's just fucking stupid on every level.

Agreed, but do something good to bury it. The general theme of his (and Labour in general) rhetoric since taking power has been "everything is fucking shit so we can't do anything, and we wouldn't want to anyway because we're the most sensibleistist government ever".

Offer people a reason not to consider going straight back to the Tories in a few years. Offer young people a reason to give even the tiniest slither of a shit about politics. They are some of the least inspiring politicians to have ever walked the earth.

I personally don't think Britain will ever change until/unless America does. They frame all the arguments around economics, markets etc. We're a slave state.

If Corbyn had got in he'd have been destroyed,  but if Sanders had got in first we'd be good to go.

He can have complimentary tickets to Torture Garden to have his bollocks tickled by dominatrices for all I care. The only thing that matters is how well he runs the country.

Hey! They said that is saved for the next week leaks.

he was never going to get an easy ride and he certainly hasnt helped himself this week, but the sheer ferocity of the attacks on labour, including from the likes of the BBC ,is something I cant remember happening before.

Apparently his popularity rating is worse than that fat drunk mess johnson, which is perhaps more telling of the type of thick bootlicking cunts we have in this country.

I genuinely think there is a campaign brewing to get Johnson back so the Tories win the next election. Pray to god the country isn’t that stupid (I know) but Labour have already been turned on. The Tories know Reform are a danger but Johnson would sway their voters back.

Sadly i make you right here.

Genuine question

When the tories where in power for 14 years, was there a never ending scrutiny on their donations?

I remember a few stories about donations not being declared, but I certainly don't remember anything like this

Some, but it wasn’t with the same vigour from the media. Truth is, Labour should know they’re held to a different standard and adjust accordingly. Fairness has long gone, they just need to crack on and avoid the bollocks.

Yeah but the detailed scrutiny towards the end only really came from the likes of Carol Vorderman and Peter Stefanovic on twitter that were cast aside as bitter loony left ramblings.
