Regular readers of this thread will be aware of my somewhat low opinion of the team Sir Keir Von Üturn has surrounded himself with. You reap what you sow.

Just watched the debate from last night. Starmer is shite in a debate, twice now he’s let that little tit push him about. I find it almost incomprehensible that he was the countries top Barrister, he has 14 years of carnage and scandal to slap Sunak about with and all he does is bluster and surrender to him as he gets redder and redder in the face, appalling. As I’ve said before a prime Blair has that little tit crying for his mummy after about ten minutes.

None of it matters, it's more about tearing it down rather than building anything.

Owen Jones made a song and dance about how he was quitting labour and backing the greens, but if you look at his feed it's all "starmer ate my cat' type stuff.

Jones, Gnasher and the type are slacktivists. They're not interested in putting a shift in, they just want to think they're right.

It's pretty poor though. The context clearly says it's been edited to make it look like he's saying something different. It's also clearly duped quite a few people. Is that the official account of the person running as an independent in Starmer's constituency? If it is heavily edited, are there rules about this type of thing?

Nice bit of victim blaming but these are the facts.

Starmer singled out Bangladeshis. Jonathan Ashworth also listed Bangladeshis the previous day. Bangladesh are suffering catastrophic climate floods yet they are not in the top five of countries where people are claiming immigration. I'll give you a point for shoeing in Owen Jones again but that's the reality. As a journalist you must know theirs a good reason why a lot of Black/Muslim/Ethnic groups are disillusioned with Starmers Labour. Its not peoples misinterpretation. If you don't understand listen to this lady again.

The truth is Labour are going to all these Harry Cole Scum paper events to placate the right wing knuckleheads. You can make exuses for it, you can defend it, you may feel comfortable with it. That's up to you. I don't.

The longer official version from that rag is not much better. The point is he singled out Bangladeshis, Jonathan Ashworth also mentioned Bangladeshis the previous day. Bangladeshis have every right to feel aggrieved.

Starmer has torn down the entire left wing of the Labour Party. Left wing Parliamentary candidates have been deselected for little more than liking an innocuous tweet whilst tory loons have been welcomed with open arms. The only Starmer has built up is a replica tory light tribute party. A party which will protect the rich and wealthy whilst coming down hard on the poor and minorities.

Its a general election campaign, almost every political journalist in Britain is tweeting about the general election. It'd be odd if they were not. If the content of his posts bothers you I suggest you block him.

He did, and it didn't look great, but I'm more aggrieved at having to watch that fucking video.

Starmer seems to have bought into this new “fashion” that football pundits follow of wearing a suit or smart trousers and a blazer and pairing them up with smarter looking trainers with bulky white soles.

This makes me think that he’s even more of a cunt than I did before.

He was interviewed on BBC Breakfast and asked to defend the policy of processing the asylum claims of people who "arrive here illegally".

You'd think someone with his legal background would be able to point out that the Tories have closed off all safe and legal channels (creating a booming market for the traffickers and slavers and leading to all the drownings) and that seeking asylum is not a crime, irrespective of the means of travel.

No chance anyone in the Labour party would say anything remotely negative about the Royal Family a week before an election. They need the votes of sub 80 IQ lickspittles.

Buckingham Palace was given as an example. The decision not to have a much needed revaluation on council tax bands is yet another example of this Labour Party protecting the wealthy. Nothing will change for those at the top although they have no qualms about punching down.

This Labour front bench sucks all hope straight out of the air of any room they happen to be speaking in. We live in the most unequal country in Europe.
