The public support it, even Tories. But the very people who would be getting taxed control how the news is framed so...

And the Labour chancellor who should be implementing it is a tory with a red rosette.

That lefty bbc again eh.

They've really let the tories corner them on this issue - sadly the relentless attack about lab and the economy and not being able to fund stuff etc has stuck and stuck heavily and instead of fighting it positively lab are massively on the back foot over it and scared to commit to the sort of stuff we all desperately need and hope they will.

Labour can't win either way with it, they say they won't spend people freak out, if they say they will spend another load of people freak out.

Kuensberg loves her low hanging fruit. She spent four years with Dominic Cummings' arm up her arse, the inverted desperate dan looking media whore.

I just hate getting up early after a bevvy. I need to lie around feeling sorry for myself for a couple of hours.

It’s via Zoom at nine in the morning so I could have a cheeky spliff at 8:30 when she takes the kids to school.

Someone’s having a laugh, they’re doing a speed awareness course on zoom.

To everyone outside of the media and political bubble the solutions are not difficult to find. We need a progressive tax system where those who can afford pay their fair share. The tv chef is right, as are the majority of British economists.

Note Kuensburg tries to lump the super rich into a convenient, all taxpayers are the same, bundle with those on low income. She knew what he meant, he explained himself clearly enough.

All these Hughes taking pot shots seem to forget how a progressive manifesto went down last time.

80 seat majority for the worst human being ever to enter UK politics, surrounded by gangsters and cretins and blanketed in shady money.

I like to think starmer understands the right wing media and its control of the thick British mob. That's all I can hope.

How do you explain the 2019 election result and the fact labour only went ahead in the polls when Truss fucked up people's mortgages?

It was the mortgages that changed everything.

That is the hope mate and I say that as someone who said about him from the start that I hope he plays the game. I just can’t get my head around the self serving cunts like Nandy, Streeting and Reeves. Genuine Tory gobshites.

Labour were ahead of the tories when they got rid of Johnson.

Their were various reasons why Labour lost the 2019 election. The unpopularity of the Labour Leader being just one of them. They certainly didn't lose it because they promised a fairer more equal society.

Anyway the country was in a very different place in the run up to the 19 election. To handicap the country and any promise of the implementation of progressive policies to make a fairer society because of that election result is self defeating. Especially as the economic policies followed by the victors of that election have not only proved disastrous but are now being rejected by the public as a whole. The country is crying out for a clear change of direction. Labour should be offering it.

She’s one herself. Can’t stand the little shit. Although the other two are worse, agreed there.
