It is. But then I'm not Gnasher, posting shit he doesn't read or comprehend.

Jairz is blaming the media for a large part of the electorate of having no empathy. Although I don't blame the lack of empathy on solely the media I don't think there's any need to argue the point as they are part of the fault. See, I understand.

No you don't, and you still don't  i believe he's rightly flagging up this stupid obsession with the BBC to turn every subject into  a 50/50 call, a toss of the coin etc when the reality on the street is vastly different.

Anyway crack on and insert word " cunt" below.

But it wasn't 50:50. The BBC had 2 people say it wrong and 1 who wasn't bothered. Oh, I should go back and argue with Jairz then.

We've seen the two sides of Britain these past few days. One bourne of class, one utterly classless.

On the one hand the quiet dignified tilting of the cap ro a true English gent. The exemplary way our Royals conducted themselves at the funeral of Prince Philip showed Britain at its best.

Then the ugly spectacle of the leader of her majesty's opposition storming into a pub to attack a hard working publican for voicing his crackpot opinion that the country has kept a lot of old people alive. Hope her Marj strips this Starmer thug of his title, he ain't no Sir he's a slur.

No, I'm not going to listen to him being called a thug by you.

How strange,  you've dragged up a post from April where I was being ironic regarding the right wing newspapers approach to Starmer being kicked our of a pub by some idiot in Bath compered to the media's whitewashed portrayal of Prince Phillip.

Big Keir on the tellybox at seven with an address to the nation.

Word on the grapevine is that he's going to call Alex a useless cunt on prime time telly.

Genuinely or are you taking the piss?

No, he has a right of reply and he'll be on at seven.

Taking the piss slightly, but he'll be calling Johnson incompetent and giving him both barrels.

Something along the lines of 'we know you can't trust this cunt, but please listen to the boffins and us and we'll get out of this. Also, ignore the fucking idiots on the Tory backbenches.'

Streeting said something similar earlier and it's quite smart.

Lots of Twitter criticism of "flag shagger" Starmer for having a Union Jack in his office, much of it from people with foreign flags in their bio.

Let me guess which flag is pissing you off...

9 points ahead. Whether by design or purely by accident, he's heading in the right direction. 20 points is surely not that far off.

Nah, the Tories will replace BJ and they’ll start polling well again.

With who?

The Tories are the Boris Johnson party. If there was anyone that could universally appeal to the broad spectrum of voters that Johnson did, up til recently, those letters would have been going into the 1922 Committee by now.

    • If they cunts had dropped points against Arsenal and against Chelsea yesterday I’d really fancy us, the gap just seems insurmountable to me now. But my God wouldn’t it just be great if they fucking collapsed the horrible cunts.
    • All of Everton's problems are down to Everton...They get in their own way and repeat the same mistakes over and over again - 30 years ago they were a club capable of competing at the top level, but a series of dreadful decisions over the years have brought them to where they now are.   They moan about other clubs spending while being owned by a billionaire who has pumped in huge sums. They complain about the success around them being "bought" when they have spent huge amounts themselves... they are the alcoholic who slates other alcoholics but who can't see their own behaviour.

If Everton wants to be a top club again they need to get a plan and stick to it instead of the desperate flailing that they have been doing for so long.

      1. Pick a manager for the future and let him put in place a 5 year football plan.
      2. Define themselves on own terms. Everton fans and the club make everything about us really and it doesn't help them it is just petty and parochial...and also accept their place, knock the delusions of grandeur and the ridiculous expectation levels on the head.   3. Get a ten year plan in place at club. Everton are not going to be able to turn around this fiasco overnight. Play moneyball for a while.... stop trying to compete with the big boys by spending massive sums on transder fees and wages on the players the big boys do not want or have discarded... Become a clin for clever, underrated hungry young players, not a home for broken/washed up stars who would prefer to be elsewhere.

As it stands Everton is in a steep decline that will only accelerate further once they move into a shiny new stadium with a shiny new mortgage. They need to change course immediately.   A dose of common sense and reality is needed to make that change.
    • This.
They gave him buttons to spend - £2million over the summer. He was also tasked with shipping out the biggest earner in the club’s history, getting rid of the underperforming director of football, and acting as a lightning rod for all the discontent that’s been building for years.
Maybe financially the appointment does stack up?
    • If they get relegated either this season or next how can they pay for this stadium thats going to cost around £650m?.   They'll have to pay anything between £40m-£60m a season on top of their financial situation now given they have a shit credit facility.
    • And the other fella who was going for the number 10 job? How'd he rate in the whiter than white stakes?
