Andy McDonald has resigned from the Labour party because he was instructed to go into a meeting and argue against a £15 minimum wage.

Good on you lad.

He hasn’t resigned from the party he’s resigned from the shadow cabinet. Actually from a shadow role that doesn’t have a department.  So who exactly was he shadowing?

Hopefully shadow minister for kissing and cuddling will be ok.

The headline on the news has changed. The news strap, I'm pretty sure originally said he had resigned from the party. I'm happy to be corrected on that though.

I just checked the Trilateral site which is currently down as they're working on an update. They link to their member list for this year though and Sir Rodney Stalin QC is still a member.

That's where a lot of the general direction will be coming from. It's not a party for workers right now, it's a corporate party.

And that's why they'll be more electable.

Not because enough people can pull off something amazing at the next election, but because the corps will be shilling for them and the media will be joining them, making things a lot easier than when Jezza was planning on breaking up some of their fun.

This country seems seriously fucked for the time being.
