Labour have to present an opposition but fucking hell, people are happy with Boris doing fuck all to prevent the deaths of a majority of the 100k recorded deaths?

There's something seriously amiss here.

Leakers names will not be released, Labour are seeking costs from the claimant!

This will go down well...

So, they now can only sue the party directly.

Pity , I was looking forward to finding out how ' Fuck off pubehead ' and hoping a Corbyn supporter died in a fire had been twisted.

And Rishi. What a boy. Lettin’ us ‘av a nice little personal allowance, gawd bless him. And people complain him and his missus and his mates will make a few quid, but he’s lettin’ us ‘av a bit, innee?

But bloody Labour an’ their magic money tree. Bloody chancers.

Doff, doff, doff, doff, doff.

Absolute shocker for Labour. I fear England is now Tory Country in all but name and won't ever get a Labour government. If this shitshow can bounce in the polls like that then there's nothing that will bring them down.

As for Labour, it should be front foot attack from the front bench now. Whatever they're paying for advice or focus groups it's too much as they're making no headway.

Truly depressing state of affairs.

The polls are all over the place, I said the same when Labour were having a bounce. Everything is out the window, the country is basically "at war", nobody wants to rock the boat and the media is in their pocket.

Coupled with Johnson's bizarre trump-esque personal appeal, and that basically he's promising to do everything for everyone, regardless of cost, there's not much a rival party can do at this particular juncture.

Three years down the line with Jeremy hunt at the helm and every fifth person out of work, the picture may be different.

That being said, labour seems bereft of ideas and direction. Fuck knows what the answer is, but having grown up under Thatcher it's not surprising to me that the great British public don't appear to be able to see and hear the same things scousers do.

It's actually kind of impressive how badly they're fucking it.

The ruling party is paying people to stay at home and are proceeding over the fastest vaccine rollout, by an absolute mile, in Western Europe. They've also promised that by summer everything will be back to normal.

The opposition are arguing with themselves and when they do actually get round to criticising anything the government does it just looks like petty frittering around the edges.

The context doesn't matter. This will be the perception for a lot of people.

Labour's strategy appears to be to do absolutely fuck all and hope Covid, Brexit and the Tories being a collection of ridiculous imbeciles, will lead to people wanting to roll the dice with the other gang again.

In an attempt to appear grown up, professional, etc, they've managed to just look like a particularly pathetic team of estate agents.

The perception thing is the real issue, isn't it? And the very clever and grown up center have absolutely no answer to it at all besides blame the left, dress smart, and wave a fucking flag.

Nothing to do with centre or left, the party since Miliband have done little apart from apologise for the global financial crash or show no opposition to the likes of Brexit or the handling of the pandemic. They're in a big hole of not wanting to rock the boat almost and don't really know how to get out of it.

Disagree with pretty much all that, apart from the bit about the current strategy being utterly fucking useless.

Well it's been useless for a long time. This is nothing new. You just have to have to look at the efforts of the previous 2 or 3 leaders.

I mean I'd disagree on who did/will do better, but OK, even if you want to say they're all useless, the approaches of Corbyn and Starmer are absolutely nothing alike.

I find it bizarre how someone would compare polls from two different eras, and what are effectively two different planets. Is the insinuation that labour would be better off under corbyn even though he actually lost an election (not a poll, an election).

Or if we're to take the idea to a logical conclusion, couldn't we compare Corbyn's election performances to bogeyman Blair's?
