Keir Starmer

Seems pretty mild stuff from a non-cabinet member , maybe she got fed up waiting for Mrs Starmer's lad to come to a conclusion on the whatsapp messages aimed against her by the party hierarchy , in fact I can't remember the last time it was mentioned. I wonder if the disloyal Abbott has ever been involved in a chicken coup timed deliberately on Sky News to inflict maximum damage on the party ?

Has she missed the bit where we left the EU in January 2020 whilst Corbyn was still opposition leader?

What's the point in Starmer holding a position about remaining when that's not even a thing now. Fucking. Stupid. The saltiness of it all is embarrassing now.

The Left arguing who's the most Left is painful. Beat the Tories FFS.

Plenty of lefty Twitterati who spent years griping - admittedly, with some justification  - about people in the party doing their utmost to undermine the democratically elected leader are now spending all their time doing their utmost to undermine the democratically elected leader.

A fair few of them are also making a big show of leaving the party, in a manner that could teach some of the forum's flouncers a thing or two.

It's a Tory's favourite asphyxiwank fantasy.

Fucksake.

Just shut the fuck up.

"He won the leadership election and you have to respect that mandate."  Yes!  Just say that and keep the rest behind closed doors.

[Edit]

I've just seen who posted that link. I should clarify that "shut the fuck up" is aimed at Abbott.

She's just not a good enough politician at a national level. She's apparently a good constituency MP but I've no real idea on that. What I do know is she sounds like a complete fucking idiot every time she opens her mouth on something else. Say what you want about Corbyn, he's not an idiot. Same with Galloway, he might be 'out there' but he's not stupid. Abbott is stirring up shit that doesn't need to be stirred.

I felt there were elements that undermined Corbyn and I didn't care for it. I feel the same about those doing it now, as Abbott is above. The "they did it to Jeremy" shtick wears thin quickly too. Yeah, I know and now you're doing it too. It's childish.

None of that is aimed at you specifically btw.

I'll criticise Starmer, just as I criticise Corbyn* but the bottom line is that whoever is the leader of the Labour Party needs to be Prime Minister, for everybody's sake.

(*Also, if Starmer were the recipient of wave after wave of lies and slander the way Corbyn was, I'd probably spend as much time defending him too.)

Before the Corbyn was stabbed in the back myth starts gaining traction again, your periodic reminder that Corbyn was calling for John Smith to resign just one month after Smith was elected as Labour leader with 92% of the vote.

I always use the phrase "democratically elected" when I talk about Corbyn and Starmer, because they were the only leaders elected by One Member, One Vote.

I can't actually find any reference to Corbyn calling for Smith to resign.  Got any links with details about what he said, where he said it and why?

No. Me neither.

Two posters who both hate the tories arguing over nothing.

Has there ever been a political party greater at fucking themselves over than Labour?

"Two posters who hate the tories" To be honest I think some posters on here hate the thought of Socialism more than they hate the Tories.

You for one.

Can you show me what I’ve said against socialism and socialist policies? It should be easy enough as you’ve come to the conclusion that I (a socialist, who has spend many years on here espousing socialist views) hate socialism. Not just that but I hate it more that the Tories (when I’ve spent many years posting about how much I hate the Tories).

I think you’re getting mixed up between socialism and Corbyn. It’s perfectly possibly to be a socialist and have a problem with the leadership’s capability to deliver socialism. This isn’t the first time you’ve done this. You’ve called me a right wing nut job, not because I’ve ever posted anything right wing, but because I’ve posted things about Corbyn.

So, about my anti-socialist views that you’re judging this on...

I'm still baffled by Abbott and McCluskey.  At some point did they think "we need to get our message out more prominently.  Do you know who'll give us a fair crack of the whip, because they have the best interests of the Labour Party at heart?  Newsnight."

It's fantastic management all round.

I don’t think their objective is to do what’s best for the Labour Party to be honest.

Looks like she’s running out of date software to me. It’s like she speaks via predictive text. Genuinely, if you watch her she looks up into her brain and appears to choose the next word from a list. It’s bizarre. I’ve no doubt her heart is in the right place but bloody hell, she isn’t well suited to what she is doing.
