Went for Blazing Saddles, Cat Balou and Support your local Sherif.

If there was an 'other' option I'd also pick Support your local gunfighter and They call me Trinity

Agreed about Call me Trinity.

I had to go with Blazing Saddles.  It had some of my favourite comedy actors of the time.  And the first time I saw it it gave me one of those rare cases of a scene in a comedy movie that made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. It's so rare that happens from a movie, never mind in real life.  I doubt I have to even saw what scene it was.  Simple laughs are the best.

It wasn't the laughs that were stopping you from breathing in that scene.

Good selection of films, Angry. Do you consider Little Big Man to be a comedy western?

It has darkly comic moments, but the backdrop of genocide makes it register lower on my comedy list than, say, Stan Laurel getting tickled in Way Out West.

I’ve not see it myself. Another of those films I own on DVD (Dunaway fan) but never for round to watching.
