Haven’t touched alcohol since spring 2014 bar a slight lapse (couple of pints) in December 2015. Sorely tempted from time to time but would never go back. Almost always drank in the pub as opposed to at home, though.

That's amazing. I always assumed you were hammered while posting...

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm finding WFH really fucking stressful. Tech strains means everything's taking twice as long to do but I have the same deadlines.

I swing wildly from hating it to loving it. IT is a problem as I can't access any work stuff and after two weeks I've only just got my emails. Some of my colleagues arent helping either, drama queen pricks. I'm the only one in my team with kids (2 and 6) so I'm trying to work while getting hassled by/trying to interact with them. Everyone else is set up at home in peace with no distractions (apart from pornhub and Netflix) which must be fucking great but my place is like a mad house. And I know some of them.have got fuck all.work to do while Im flat out.

Honestly last week my mobile phone didn't stop going for calls, texts and emails I thought I was going mad and just wanted to flush it down the toilet to escape. I've had to change the ring tone it was setting me on edge! Same this week really since now it's all video calls which are fucking shit. Like on Monday we had to do a short notice team video meeting at 12 but I was putting the two year old down for a nap - who the fuck has meetings at 12 anyway? It just showed that they have no idea what a day is like when you have kids and you're all locked up in the house all day.

I also look after our websites and social media so have been getting hammered (by work, not booze) for a week. At some points it's really got me down (like I'd rather just be in the office) but other times I realise I've got to look on the bright side - I get to see my kids all day and take them the park in the afternoon for an hour - when else would this happen? Plus millions of people are in well worse situations than me so I shouldn't moan - at least I'm getting paid etc.

So, I keep trying to not let the bad stuff get me down and keep a level head. Ive also been going for late night walks which is a bit weird but I've really enjoyed them as there is virtually no one around.  Missing the gym though - really wish I'd been on the ball and bought some weights and a rowing machine.

To answer the OP - not really. Been drinking a shit load of tea and coffee though.

I had a bad cough for a week so I didn't touch any booze while I waited for a test that never happened. Being making it up for Saturday, so much so I got my days mixed up yesterday and thought it was Tuesday and missed a work conference call.

it's great going for a wonder late at night - especially now it's warming up.

I've also developed the tactic of telling people how long shit is gonna take to do. Seems to work- everyone else is feeling it right now.

Hope it gets easier for you.

I hadn't had a drop since new years eve, even got past my birthday in Feb without having a drink. Having been a heavy drinker, the effects of almost three months have been great, the weight has dropped off (not that I was overweight but I like to keep as fit as possible) and I'm sleeping better.

That said on Saturday gone I had a few cans as the missus, who hardly ever drinks at home said she felt like a few wines so we ordered takeout and drinks. It was weird as it tasted so different and I even felt the effects after two cans but by God did I feel guilty for it.

Hopefully I have changed now and will keep my drinking to social events going forward, the extra dosh is quite handy also..

Been drinking every day. Usually 3 or 4 pint bottles of beer.  That's really bad.  I'm going to be in a right state when this ends.  A bunch of us did a zoom thing last night and I'd a feed of pints so a bit hungover so I doubt I'll be drinking tonight.  First night off in 3 weeks.

I've tried to drink the same as I usually do, every saturday night and every other tuesday or wednesday. I like to drink beer when out and wine at home but try not to get anything over 12.5%, 2 bottles of that usually suffices.
