Used the sub machine last night for the first time. What a giant piece of shit. 2 full pints of foam and then 2 pints which I had to wait for them settle and top up and which then became immediately flat after the first swig and undrinkable. I've got an IPA in there now chilling on a green light I'll try that this afternoon. I've also got 4 tiger to be delivered if there's no improvement after that it's going back.

I mentioned I got a Perfect Draft a few pages back. I’m loving it.

The Clwb went in last night and started that today. Very easy to drink, too easy in fact.

They do Kwak (8.5%) and Leffe Ritual (9%), I don’t feel brave enough to take on a keg of them  just yet.

How much is a keg of Kwak/Leffe and how many pints do you get?

Keg hold 10.5 pints, price range between 30-41 quid. Kwak top end obviously.

I get permanent 15% off through a group I joined, Beer Hawk give you 5% of spend in beer tokens plus you get a fiver back for returning the kegs.

All the kegs and machines you can find here.

I drank every single night for 60 days. I’ve piled on the weight and felt awful. So I stopped drinking last Sunday and feel loads better and the weight is already coming off. I’m going to stay off the drink until at least the start of August. I’m combining it with no takeaways and trying to not eat junk. I’ll be a ride at the end of this

I had my first two cans last week after two months of not a drop, the mate called and had a few cans outside of the local on a patio thing observing the social distancing of course, it was sound having a bit of a talk just 3 of us and landlord who hasn't fogot I still owe a bit off my bar bill.

Same tomorrow though might give it a miss as never been one for drinking outside a pub in front of people going past, a bit shit that but there it wasn't to bad as I'd have a can in hand and could ask passers by for any spare change as well without looking to tacky.

Lost there mate,  but not exactly whatever its supposed to mean.

Just OK to to socialise a bit and a beer but back to confinement now as still wary.

Where do you get these pictures from? Do you have to look them up or something or stored on your phone?

It just looks like two people listening to shite music to the annoyance of neighbours.

It's lashing down here, which is most welcome.

Not seen it, I google stuff and save to my phone but can't post on here, the only forum thing I'm on, though can to contacts. Saying that though, I managed to post something on the Footy Nostalgia after taking a photo of it, to my amazement, but can't remember.

It's a bastard because I've wanted to send the odd music video in the past, I'll get there one day.

During this virusy thing I have cemented my love/hate relationship with tequila.

I love it and it hates me.

Same here. Been making some mean margeritas lately. But because I can't be arsed to make sugar syrup, I substitute it with the sweet AF foreign liqueurs we have stashed in the back of the drinks cabinet. Fucken', rocket fuel...!

Also, where the fuck sells decent tequila in this country (Hornitos, Corrallejo etc..)?

I'd do a keg of Kwak in a single sitting no problem. I say no problem but would probably be a blind dribble chin with shit in my socks that I'm still wearing the next day

Hahahahahaha

Is Kraken worth the money?

Thinking of branching out from Bourbon and Southern Comfort.

Yes.

They sell this in Asda for 25 nicker, It’s not bad. Mind you, my go to for a Margarita is basic Jose Cuervo. You can pick up Agave syrup in most supermarkets now, much better than using sugar syrup.

It really is excellent, pours pub quality pints and there’s a pretty decent range of beers too.

Thinking of getting the one that’s advertised on the site you linked, is there much maintenance involved, are the gas cylinders easy to come by etc?

There’s little or none.

You get a tube with each keg, throw away each time you change over. Just run water through the tap and tube each time, job done.

It’s really easy to set a keg, it’s no more than 1-2 minutes. Very faff free. No C02 cartridges required. The Machine does everything automatically.

That link I posted gives you 10% discount as it’s a referral link, full disclosure.
