Trivia question

My first thought was Mark Hughes but I didn’t think he’d have played with Le Tiss, but according to wikipedia he had two years at Southampton from 98-2000 so he more than likely did.

so I’m going with him.

but has he he been manager of the year? Surely not?

Played 7 games for Southampton and managed Sunderland and City and finished 4th in World player of the year.

If it were Reid and that’s who I thought of, I would have expected this clue.

I started the premier league season as manager of one club and finished it as player of another.

A player who has played for four Premier League-winning clubs (in the Premier League) but never won the Premier League?

Robbie Savage?

Played for Leicester, Man Utd and Blackburn. Not sure if he played for Man City?

Peter Reid?

Reckon you've got it, although still no idea what "I almost came 3rd in the World Soccer Player of the Year Award" means. It is a very Everton achievement mind you...

edit: ha, must have had this open from earlier. Must refresh first!

Because if I just write "he came 4th in the World Soccer Player of the Year", then that's an easy Google.
