Never watched Always Sunny. Tried it and meant to go back as I got bored really early, didn't even get through one episode as I thought it looked terrible.

So Cheers

Cheers had aged badly about 20 years ago.

Never understood the aged badly thing. Basically, it means a film or television series is different in style from modern ones, does it not?

Sort of.    All I know is when I watched it years ago, I truly didn't see the fuss but knew it was rated once upon a time so couldn't be that shit.

Yeah, that's horrible but it's always been there and probably will continue to be.

50/50? What the fuck is wrong with people?

Clearly it’s Always Sunny.

Which should win this competition in an absolute canter now given the actual best show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, has been knocked out by a vastly inferior show.

Cheers was great for its time, but come on...

Is that typical of it?  Looks shit if so.

strange thing is, without danny devito, i'm not sure the show would have survived one season.

not that the writing or acting isn't great, but frank is what brings it all together....

tough crowd.

assuming you have a bit of spare time, why not give it a try ?

it probably does take a bit of time to warm up too.
