Seen a lot of people on Twatter recently about how you can't be a Liverpool fan and a Tory. Mainly after some Liverpool fans praised Boris Johnson for handling the Coronavirus situation.

 

Our club's founder was a Tory albeit when the political landscape was completely different but given what happened with Hillsborough and the Tory government in the 1980s wanting Liverpool as a city to decline isn't it hypocritical to be one and support Liverpool?. 

 

A certain family member of mine is a rabid Boris Johnson loving Tory despite being a scouser. Mainly because he hates Jeremy Corbyn. But still describes himself as a "top red".
