I think the real question is whether there is a KFC in Penzance so this issue can be settled in true TLW style

I would have thought that has been shut down already.

@moof Can you answer yes or no to the question below, that the other bumbling buffoon NT has ducked

Would you, for the common good to help those more vulnerable than you, (and not in that category yourself) suspend doing your shopping online so that those people are more likely to get what they need and less likely to suffer or die?

I’m lucky enough that I don’t need to shop online, but in the selfishness stakes switching your shopping habits from in store to online is pretty low down the list.

I’ve never in my life claimed to be a communist ya bad nonce. You, on the other hand, by your own admission voted Tory to benefit yourself. As is your right, and you clearly feel some sense of regret for it so cool, but it’s a bit hilarious, in that case, to see you giving out on people for being selfish cunts when you have no awareness of their situation. So, swivel.

Ha.

It was deliberate. I'm not going to answer a question that is based on a completely false premise or which has so many variables to make a soundbitey type answer insufficient.

If the question was more realistic, I'd have given an answer. Maybe:

"Is it a good idea that those in full health should,

- if they have the means go to the shop themselves; and

- if it can be guaranteed that they don't contract coronavirus themselves. Or, if they do contract it, it can be guaranteed that they experience minimal symptoms which don't require hospitalisation or life saving medical intervention and also do not pass the virus on to anybody else; and

- if they aren't buying essential items needed to care for a baby or small child which could not be sourced locally; and

- if they aren't trying to purchase staple, non-luxury items which they have been unable to acquire in the majority of local supermarkets or smaller grocery stores

refrain from online shopping for while, if possible, so that vulnerable people have guaranteed slots and dont have to go out?"

If that was the question, I'd likely answer "yes."

It’s the entitlement Olympics and all these cunts have been training their whole lives for this moment.

Shine, chumps, shine!

The first event is tutting at things you’re guilty of.

I’m a more decent and left-wing person than you, based on knowing you through internet conversations.

If you don’t rep this, you’re Margaret Thatcher.

The difference between me and you is if I was speaking to a complete stranger who desperately needed shopping but was classed as too vulnerable and i wasnt, I would go in to the store and get them what I could.

You would want them to fill in a questionnaire before telling them to fuck off.

Good for you, i'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely mean it. You have got a booking for mid april, not a problem with me, fair play to you. I'm concerned with the perfectly fit and able cunts snapping up all the immediate and nearby dates.

As for my interest in wider social issues, I do post occasionally on the subject and it is something that concerns me. I do make an effort to help those around me, if you want to know more PM me.

I think my problem with stating the view i have is that i am not a socialist or a corbyn supporter, indeed i have criticised him strongly. Not for anti semitism, which i have always said is bollocks but his policies. I'm seen as a tory by those who have noticed my posts, and therefore everything I say is ridiculed for being an uncaring bastard who votes for uncaring bastards. The fact is I have voted for all 3 parties in my time, partly for what suits me best and partly what i believe suits the country best.

Just to confirm, i am not inconvenienced by not being unable to get delivery slots for others within the next 3 weeks, I am worried and also very annoyed at the selfish cunts that have taken them.

It never suits the country as a whole to have a tory government at any time. Their attitude is the exact one that you are slagging people, rightly in some cases, for now.

Just saying what I would do to highlight the difference in attitudes.

Edit. I've already said that I wont do any online shopping for myself until i know i wont be taking a vulnerable persons slot.

Yes. Stupidity versus non-stupidity.

I don't want to get coronavirus. Look at the nurse in the papers. She's obviously a heroine. But, her case highlights that young, fit people are almost dying with this condition. It's that serious that The Pope cancelled Easter, effectively saying that Jesus can stay dead this year.

You know absolutely fuck all about me. You don't know if I have people who rely on me. You don't know my personal/health/family circumstances. The government are advising against all but essential activity. Social distancing is next to impossible in supermarkets.

Call me selfish. I don't really give a fuck. We're in unprecedented times. I don't want to go down the "every man for himself" route. That's for your bulk buyers and bog roll lot. I'd happily get someone's shopping for them in a safer situation. But not now. The situation determines that. Not my attitude. The situation is such that the burden of looking after other's demands state interventions and increased infrastructure and resources now. It's just the way it is.

To summarise:

You should look after yourself regardless as to whether you are equipped to help others. Its just the way it is.

You’ve met me in real life and I’m the guy Engles and Marx kicked out of the symposium at The Cotton Tree in Hyde for being a ‘bit too out there’.

If you don’t agree, you stood trial in Nuremberg.

I wish I had as much of a grasp on things as the guy who spends years calling women mucky slags on here, then starts piously telling people off for being misogynistic now society has told him it’s not okay rather than his own morals.

You just keep on setting the standards we all should follow.
