Searching yourself in threads

On occasion I find myself in massive 100 page threads about something or other that traces back over a few years. Is there an easy way I can search for any comments I made in the thread in the past as opposed to going page by page? 
 

And if so, can I do it for other people’s comments or is it just mine, if at all?

If you click on your profile (or someone else's) and click on 'See my activity' you can see all the topics you've started or all the posts you've made in topics.
