The greatest/funniest UK Sitcom final should be Fawlty Towers vs. Only Fools and Horses or Blackadder.

Partridge is boss, and I much prefer it to Blackadder, but looking at it objectively, it isn’t quite of the same quality as the other three.

The first series of IAP is the absolute pinnacle of UK sitcoms for me but it does fall down slightly due to the fact that there are only two series and the second one isn't as anywhere near as good. Of course, Fawlty Towers only has two series as well, but the overall quality is more consistent while not reaching the peak of IAP series 1. OFAH has the longevity factor and it's probably the most iconic UK sitcom going but it's not quite as good as the other two for me. I've only seen Blackadder once, years ago, and it didn't have a huge effect on me - I need to revisit it.

Obviously voting Partridge but knew this was a foregone conclusion before the tie started.

Fawlty Towers will win this overall. I don't recall ever really getting into an episode, so I can't really complain or praise it either. John Cleese is great in Python stuff so I'm sure it's earned it's kudos.
