The Young ones. I still uses phrases from it on pretty much a daily basis.

Plus it had bands play in various rooms in their house, including Dexys Midnight Runners in the bathroom, Motorhead in the lounge. Madness in the street and the pub.

Partridge, brilliant as it was, over did it in the end

Ground breaking as it was at the time, The Young Ones hasn't aged well.  Loved it as a kid but Partridge is the funnier show.

Yep. I don't think i could watch a whole episode of The Young Ones now. In fact, I think I tried about 20 years ago and it was badly dated then.

Tough one, but Partridge. One of the best British  programmes ever in my opinion.

Your programmes ... your programmes.

I re-watched them all on Netflix in the last few weeks. Just genius. Arguably second ever to Fawlty Towers for me.

I think it might be better, although there is a  significant drop off in season 2.

No I can't say its better, Fawlty Towers is the stand out for me mate.

Yes it does but its still superb. If it was just the 2nd series on its own it would still be top 5.

I quote them both pretty much daily.

Hard choice this.
