Report: Liverpool to be crowned champions with a expanded Premier League proposed for the 2020/21 season

Of course the only thing which has really mattered all along is winning the title, it’s only how insanely good our results have been which upped the ante. Before the season kicked off everyone would have been happy with winning it on goal difference on the last day.

But on top of inevitably being denied winning it in front of the fans and it now looking almost certain we won’t even get to finish the games off and confirm it mathematically, we’re going to be denied an absolute slew of potential records. Most points, most wins, most home wins, widest margin, earliest date confirmed and on and on, which would have marked this out as a league performance which would never be beaten.

It’s probably a good thing Watford beat us now, as the league getting jibbed if we were only 8 or 9 games from an unbeaten season would just add yet another sting on top. Obviously pales into insignificance in the perspective of what is going on globally, but fuck me this is some next level cruelty at a purely football level.

As long Liverpool get the title, I don't care about the rest. The people who will go on about asteriscks were the same tools who went on about #taintedtitle only to see it blow up in their face when all of City's accomplishments became #taintedtitles. Hendo can do the shuffle at the first home game of next season, and the title is more than just the moment it's won. For me, the abiding memory will be the win at Villa. Sit back, dwell on it, and be ready for the endorphin hit.

Chris Sutton has done what seemed like the impossible and out-cynicled Karren Brady about this. He wants the Scottish premier league stopped right now, with Celtic being made champions because they're 13 points ahead, but he wants the English premier league cancelled with no team made chhampions even though we're 25 points ahead. Spectacular fuckwittery, Chris!

Almost as if he has a Celtic and Norwich connection.

He chats some absolute shite that fella. Loved him at Celtic as a player but he is a proper wind up merchant now and more often than not makes an absolute twat of himself. He is no Alex Rae mind.

My mate worked that today. Good game?

Wasnt too bad, you can see why some of these lads are in this league due to their touch or lack of speed. There was a lad who came on for Ebbsfleet who had a decent touch and looked like he could play in League Two if not League One. The lad who scored for Ebbsfleet was a bit of a lumbering character but he struck the goal sweetly.
