Yeah, it was prolonged cruelty not just a one off. I'm not sure how the sentencing is so lenient.

4 kids aged 3 and 5, die in a house fire in Sutton. The mother arrested for allegedly leaving them alone in the house. What a shit month this has been for parenting stories, really upsetting.
