Don't know if it's been mentioned already but towards the end of the game the BBC had a scoll saying " Liverpool haven't had a shot on target since the 31st minute "

Never ever seen a comment like that on a live BBc game before.

So, no bias there then no siree ………….

Probably the only choice cause I can't see the FA offering the dough needed. 

 

There's also too many games being added elsewhere, which really doesn't fucking help.

That would only make sense if you gave the losing finalist the spot if the winners already qualified. Most of the time the cup is won by a CL team.

Negative fuckers can say what they want, so can I. If I want to slag them for the continual ( years in some cases ) negativity usually baseless and unnecessary then I will. Some only appear when we lose, others are here all the time.

And therein lies why it isnt a workable suggestion. Neither are teams going to take the FA Cup seriously for even £10m or £20m prize when staying in the PL alone, never mind getting promotion to it, is worth nearly £100m.

 

I very much doubt UEFA would accept the nomination of a cup winner, who'd played 6 or so games, being given entry to their premier competition. But why only the FA Cup winners and not the EFL Cup?

It cant happen. The English football association have no sway with UEFA and their tournament. You cant allow non league English teams an attempt on qualifying for the Champions League, however unlikely

I'm still sulking about this.   Prior to this match, we were still 4 wins away from winning each of the three biggest trophies. The Treble was by no means an unachievable dream.
