What they’re also failing to report is that Germany put into place job creation schemes, both in green economy and ‘future markets’ and looked at this as an opportunity to kick start a green and tech revolution for the country, which perhaps would have taken years to get through with business interests sticking their oar in.

 

They saw an opportunity to change and improve the country, ours saw a way to cling on to the archaic view of industry they have and line their friends pockets.

 

Sunak is doing less than other nations and planning for even less, it’s a slight of hand which will temporarily alleviate the suffering, but plunges millions in to an uncertain future with  recession, mass unemployment and job contraction just around the corner.
