I cant stand Burnham I think he's a duplicitous self serving cunt but honestly if he took leadership of labour now I think they would stand a far better chance of competing against the tories.

I just want proportional representation, let parliament reflect the nation more honestly for better or worse rather than this rigged and face it national psychological problem of red team v blue team.

Dunno about burnham. He might win back some red wall voters, but he's fucking despised in the south for having the audacity to demand stuff for his northern city.

I think you can always gauge a labour leader by how he is viewed by tories.

I was on some forum a while ago which was full of them..they were utterly obsessed with sturgeon,,Corbyn and Burnham and starmer was virtually ignored

The same people who defend Johnson for his performance in the pandemic with the "imagine if Corbyn had been in charge" line (they're always fucked when you say "which bit could he have got worse?") are now saying "but I can't stand that Burnham, who does he think he is, he's just a mayor". It's not proper labour voters we need to win. It's the ones who know they shouldn't have voted for johnson and defend that position by blaming labour for having Corbyn.

The NHS is pretty much done for and we let it happen.

Ah, well.

Sadly, this aligned with screening/testing already being in private hands, non medical staff outsourced and GP surgeries increasingly being bought up by big American firms with vested interests means we’re getting there.

Just needs a crisis to show that ‘The NHS working with our partners in the private sector can alleviate the current predicament’ and it’s toast.

Luckily they don’t have a dangerous backlog of appointments, staff shortages, real term cuts, show piece investment, slight of hand funding and a fucking pandemic picking up the slack on their nefarious plans…
